Francisca Cordeiro da Silva joined the Lisbon office in 2026. Francisca holds a Law Degree and a Master’s Degree in Employment Law from Universidade Católica Portuguesa.

Francisca practises primarily in the field of Employment Law, advising national and international clients across a range of business sectors on individual and collective employment matters. Francisca’s experience includes, among other areas, employee recruitment, management of employment relationships, disciplinary proceedings, termination of employment, corporate restructurings, transfers of undertakings, collective redundancies, and dismissals due to the elimination of positions, collective bargaining, and the implementation and review of internal human resources policies.

Francisca’s experience also includes advising on employment due diligence processes in the context of corporate transactions, including the identification, assessment, and mitigation of employment-related risks, to support companies in their decision-making.

In addition, Francisca advises on international recruitment and employee mobility matters, including immigration procedures, obtaining and renewing residence permits, and compliance with the legal formalities associated with employment. Francisca also provides legal advice on Social Security matters, assisting clients with the assessment and fulfilment of their legal and contribution obligations and in dealings with the relevant authorities.
