Luís Filipe Faria is an associate at Belzuz Abogados, S.L.P., Portugal branch, having joined the firm in 2012.

He focuses his practice on insurance law, working in both the Insurance Law and Litigation and Arbitration departments.

He provides legal advice to various entities in the insurance sector, in particular to insurance companies, agents and brokers, both national and international, in both the Life and Non-Life branches. His work covers various aspects, such as the drafting of legal reports, the analysis, drafting and review of contracts and the adaptation of contractual documentation to national legislation.

He also represents several national and international insurance companies, as well as individuals, in pre-litigation negotiations and litigation, particularly in disputes arising from motor, life and civil liability claims.

In the litigation field, he also has extensive experience in various aspects of health law, particularly civil and criminal liability arising from medical negligence, both from the perspective of injured patients and insurance companies.
