Ignacio Montero Pujante holds a degree in Law from the Universidad Complutense de Madrid. He completed his academic training by preparing for competitive examinations to enter the judicial and prosecutorial career, and holds an LLM from the IE Law School. He has been a practising solicitor registered with the Madrid Bar Association (ICAM) since 2013.
In 2025, he joined Belzuz Abogados, S.L.P. as an associate lawyer in the Insurance Law Department. He has a solid professional track record in representing and defending the interests of insurance companies—both national and international—as well as their policyholders, in all types of judicial and extrajudicial proceedings.
His practice focuses on insurance law, with a special emphasis on professional civil liability (CL), healthcare (public and private), defective products, personal injury and property damage, as well as D&O and life insurance. He has extensive experience in the comprehensive management of large claims, intervening in all phases and before all jurisdictions, as well as in the interpretation and resolution of disputes relating to insurance coverage.
